The **Aboriginal Family Clinic** is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and holistic healthcare services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families, and carers. Our multi-disciplinary team works collaboratively to deliver high-quality primary health clinical care and social & emotional wellbeing support.

**About the Role**:
As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing culturally appropriate, equitable, and comprehensive social work services to our clients. Key **responsibilities **include:

- Conducting assessments, consultations, interventions, and reviews to address the social and emotional needs of clients.
- Providing education, liaison with community agencies, and organize appropriate resources to support clients.
- Planning, developing, delivering, and evaluating social work services in alignment with the clinic's priority areas.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of services through support, advice, guidance, and education to other health professionals.

To be **successful** in this role, you will need:

- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Proven experience delivering culturally appropriate social work services, preferably within Indigenous communities.
- Strong understanding of social determinants of health and trauma-informed care principles.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
