**_Your LINC is a multi-agency mental health outreach service delivered in partnership by Centacare and KWY Aboriginal Corporation. Our service offers holistic, flexible, and culturally responsive psycho-social support for individuals experiencing mental health challenges and distress across the Adelaide Metro, Barossa, Hills, Fleurieu and Limestone Coast. Your LINC is delivered in the Southern, Northern and Central Local Health Network regions._**

**The Role**
- Peer Workers form effective and empathetic relationships and provide positive role modelling by appropriately sharing lived experience and understanding of the impact of mental health challenges, service use and recovery.Intensive Crisis Support (ICS) (6 weeks) - provision of flexible high intensity case management support. The key outcomes are reduced levels of distress/increased wellbeing via addressing immediate stressors and crises, and supported transition and exit with step-down provision and warm referrals to services as appropriate.-
**What you need to bring**

**Essential**
- Certificate 4 level qualification in Mental Health Peer Work.
- Lived experience of mental health challenges and recovery.
- Experience and expertise in working directly with people with mental health issues, complex needs, and with their families and carers.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise to meet client service delivery requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in documenting client case notes and working with electronic data bases.
- Demonstrated understanding of available community services, networks and supports.
- Great interpersonal and listening skills to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated experience working with the recovery framework and taking a trauma informed approach to practice.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and de-escalate crises.
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check.

**Desirable**
- Degree in relevant Human Services discipline.
- Experience using Penelope electronic client management system.

**Special Conditions**
- Flexibility is essential in this role - some work outside of standard hours may be required.
- Option to salary sacrifice a company fleet vehicle.
