**About the team**:
From baby food to coffee blends, our team members use their passion and innovative thinking to develop and deliver Coles’ own brands of quality products and best value solutions for our customers.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the role provides an exciting opportunity to develop and manage brand strategy across a portfolio of brands, working with some of Australia’s leading brand and research agencies. You will identify opportunities to drive growth based on sales, customer metrics and market data as well as partner with Customer Insights to initiate research to understand future trends and innovation and help inform brand strategy.

You’ll also:

- Support and manage the development of yearly brand plans for priority brands, identifying commercial and customer opportunities across key business units, to drive core growth & future NPD pipeline.
- Support the identification & development of new brands & existing brand stretch; from initial concept through to final brand guidelines to unlock commercial and customer growth opportunities.
- Support brand research projects to identify new customer opportunities and brand proposition.
- Develop marketing & brand strategy to deliver business targets for priority brands within the Own Brand portfolio.
- Support integrated marketing communications, working in collaboration with owned comms leads and key agencies to ensure consistent delivery across brand portfolio.

**About you and your skills**:
We’re after a customer obsessed brand and marketing professional with demonstrated brand strategy experience within FMCG or retail, located in Melbourne, with flexible working arrangements available.

You’ll also need:

- Analytical skills and confidence working with commercial & financial data (including budget management)
- To be customer focused identifying and managing trends, research, and insights to understand knowledge gaps and potential future opportunities.
- Experience in brand management and strategy
- Experience working with strategic brand & creative agencies.
- A high level of confidence working with key senior level stakeholders in large and complex organisations, while leveraging your influencing skills
- Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns, through media channels as well as within a retail environment.
