**ABOUT THE POSITION**

As a Tender Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of Alcolizer by conducting research, identifying tender opportunities, performing risk assessments, developing strategies, and writing proposals to win new business.

Your ability to effectively project manage and communicate with multiple stakeholders and handle various tasks with competing deadlines will be essential in achieving positive outcomes throughout the tender process. This role will support the sale team around Australia and will operate across wide range of sectors including Defence, Law Enforcement, and other targeted government departments.

**Key responsibilities of the role**:

- Conduct comprehensive research on potential tender opportunities, market trends and competitors to gather insights and identify business opportunities.
- Identify and evaluate tender opportunities, assessing feasibility and alignment with Alcolizer’s objectives.
- Perform risk assessments by evaluating potential risks, challenges, and opportunities associated with each tender.
- Analyse data and information to identify key requirements and develop winning strategies. It’s our aim use this data and take a strategic approach to tendering and not consuming resources where we don’t have opportunity to succeed.
- Write clear, concise, and compelling proposals that effectively address client needs, objectives, and requirements, ensuring we articulate our USP and how that relates to client selection criteria.
- Collaborate with various internal teams, including sales, finance, and engineering departments to gather relevant information and develop comprehensive proposals.
- Ensure proposals are submitted within specified deadlines and adhere to all necessary formatting and submission requirements.
- Manage multiple tenders simultaneously, ensuring all tasks and deadlines are effectively prioritised and met.
- Coordinate and oversee the preparation and submission of tender documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and quality.
- Monitor and track tender progress, providing regular updates to the Executive Team and addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of all tender-related activities, including correspondence, documentation, and contract data.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Hold a relevant degree in Business, Management or Marketing (desirable).
- Have minimum 3 years industry experience in a tender management or business development role.
- Professional certifications in tender management are a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in tender management, business development, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of tender processes, including research, proposal development, and submission requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitors.

**LOCATION**

This is a permanent role based at our WA office in Balcatta or NSW office in Alexandria.
