**Your new role**

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Venue and Event Coordinator to join our Curtin St George’s Terrace team. Based across two Curtin premises - 137 and 139 St Georges Terrace, Perth, you will liaise with service providers, internal staff, and external partners, to coordinate events and ensure the effective day-to-day running of the venues are achieved.

As the Venue and Event Coordinator, your key duties and responsibilities include:

- Processing venue bookings and collaborating with clients and suppliers to coordinate events, meetings, workshops, conferences etc.
- Provide professional and high-quality customer service to all clients, suppliers, and visitors
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external clients, key suppliers, and stakeholders
- Maintain venue operations which will include liaising with key university service providers, landlords and external contractors to ensure the upkeep of operations and facilities remain at a high standard.
- Promote venue and engagement opportunities, and showcase the University to external audiences

Additionally, Curtin 139 St Georges Terrace will become a part time gallery space hosting the Carrolup Centre for Truth-telling portal. This will require engagement with Curtin’s John Curtin Gallery and University Advancement team.

Experience using **Ungerboeck (Momentus)**, or similar venue management systems is desirable.
