**What is a Facility Administration for Hume?**

Working as part of the Community Capacity Building department the Facility Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the team in providing facility administration, ensuring that the day to day operation of the Aitken Hill Community Centre is undertaken and delivered.

The role will require them to have high level customer service skills as they engage with the members of the public and internal customers. Effective communication in a timely, professional and effective manner in accordance with agreed performance standards and service expectations is one of the key expertise required as a Facility Administrator.

**Key Skills**
- Relevant qualification and demonstrated high level administrative/reception and customer service skills within a community setting.
- Demonstrated experience, understanding and commitment to community development practice and principles.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in written form to a broad range of people from diverse backgrounds and cultures with an ability to write reports and to prepare external correspondence.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage facility booking systems and associated processes.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to manage the day-to-day operations of the Aitken Hill Community Centre in Craigieburn.

You are a community facility administrator who is passionate about delivering community centre services and programs within a strong customer focused environment. Your expertise will include:

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the administration and operation of a community facility.
- High level customer service to members of the public and internal customers in a timely, professional and effective manner in accordance with agreed performance standards and service expectations
- Demonstrated success in promoting and facilitating community development programs and initiatives.
