**About EDConnect**

EDConnect is the Department’s Shared Service Centre, delivering integrated transactional and advisory services for the Department. EDConnect offers information, support and advice to schools and education support teams, for a wide range of services including business services, finance, human resources, ICT and procurement.

**About the role**

This **new** role is a member of EDConnect’s recently expanded Business Services and Enablement function that delivers business-critical services to EDConnect, its partners and customers.

The **Manager Records Management** manages a team to provide a wide range of systems and support services to ensure the effective creation, capture, and management of records across the department to comply with the State Records Act and meet the requirements of schools and education support teams.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Tertiary qualifications in business or related field or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
- Working with children check for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and driving records management adherence. This includes understanding State Archive and Records Act, educating others in SARA and records compliance and deploying technology that uplifts the records management capability.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
