Reasonable Accommodation Manager

This role is to handle adjustments or modifications to enable individuals with disabilities or specific needs to perform essential tasks or access services. Reasonable Accommodation ensures inclusivity by addressing individual needs while maintaining fairness and compliance with legal requirements. It fosters an environment where individuals, regardless of their disabilities or special requirements, can fully participate and contribute.
It requires the ability to perfin a fast-paced environment, to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to have strong technological proficiency.
**Responsibilities**
- Define the APAC regional strategy for reasonable accommodations, including principles of the program, resource needs, risk factors, and policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with local laws and best practices like the Equality Act 2010 (UK), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) (US), or other anti-discrimination laws globally, by including an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) statement. Make the company an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
- Develop an integration plan for accommodations/adjustments with internal cross-functional partners.
- Engage in and document the interactive process with applicants and employees requesting accommodations
- Research and evaluate potential accommodations, including assistive devices, workplace modifications, and flexible work arrangements by industry best practices.
- Manage the accommodation process from end to end;
- Provide consultation and education to employees and managers on the accommodation process, legal considerations, and determinations;
- Ensure proper documentation, recordkeeping, and confidentiality of all accommodation-related information, adhering to data privacy regulations and company privacy policies;
- Maintain accurate and organized records of accommodations provided, communications, and any other relevant documentation.
- Conduct training sessions or workshops for employees, managers, and IHR on accommodations and related topics
- Stay current with all local employment laws, regulations, and guidelines for leaves of absence and adjustments
- Analyzes the job to determine the essential functions.
- Identifies how a disability may affect the essential functions of the job.
- Identifies possible accommodations needed to overcome any limitations.
- Determines the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed accommodation.
- Selects the appropriate accommodation that satisfies the employee’s preference.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Degree or equivalent in related fields of HR, ER, Health & Safety, or Occupational Health. Applicants without a degree with the relevant experience will also be considered
- Extensive experience in managing workplace accommodations for disabilities
- Strong emotional intelligence for themselves and others. Balances empathy, culture understanding, and team motivation with achieving timely organizational res
- Strong proficiency in technology and the ability to compose complex documents, including strategies, policies, and procedures, to a high standard.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in large multi-national and multi-cultural organizations
- 5+ years of experience with workplace health and safety regulations and Initiatives, particularly ergonomics and occupational health.

Pay: $53,724.93 - $123,325.57 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
