As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for the end to end accounts payable process including invoice receipt, scanning, coding, employee expenses, purchase order matching, payment setup and file management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Maintenance and updating of customer database
- Invoice payments in accordance with customer credit terms
- Liaises with customers and internal staff with accounts payable queries
- Reconciling statements and identifying outstanding invoices
- Processing of ATO, superannuation and other payroll related payments as instructed by the payroll manager and/or Manager
- Month end processing and reporting in accordance with monthly closing timetable
- Review and improvement of accounts payable processes and policies

**The Successful Applicant**:
To be successful for this role, you must be able to work as a team player and be able to collaborate with other work streams. You must also
- At least 3 years of proven experience in an Accounts Payable environment
- Demonstrated ability to respond to urgent requests and changing priorities
- Open and problem solving mind set to help develop compliant and operationally practical solutions regarding technical matters
- Ability to manage a complex process within resource and time constraints
- Experience in SAP, MYOB, ProSpend accounting systems and Analytic tools would be advantageous
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Visio
