Chief Financial Strategist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team at Fine Fibre Pty Ltd. As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations across the group, working closely with the board and CEO to drive growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting and Control: Develop and implement effective financial control and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and transparency in all financial activities.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance insights, to inform strategic business decisions.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to the company's financial stability, ensuring compliance with global accounting and legal frameworks.
• Compliance and Governance: Uphold high standards of corporate governance, risk management, and compliance, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Offshore Operations: Manage offshore finance teams and enhance operational efficiency, while maintaining strong relationships with international partners.
• Commodity Trading: Secure and manage commodity trades on the International Commodities Exchange, leveraging your expertise in cotton trading.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting and Finance, CA or CPA qualification, or equivalent.
• Experience: Proven career path through in-house finance roles, with a strong background in commercial finance and strategic growth.
• Skills: Excellent financial control skills, strong understanding of international finance considerations, commodities market expertise, and prior experience in B2B sales and service environments.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Bengali is an advantage due to the company's involvement in the fibre and garment industry in Bangladesh.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is AU$150,000 - AU$200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
