About the Role
- Permanent opportunity in the Asset Management area - Sydney based
We have an opportunity for an efficient & highly organised individual to join our Sydney team as a Shared Services Specialist.
In this role you will support Shared Services team is to ensure that SBES AP/AR, accounting and reporting requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.
This role is responsible for delivering day to day Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, financial reporting, invoicing, reconciliations and debt collection, in line with our standard Procure-to-Pay processes across all AGL sites and locations.
What you’ll be doing (Main key responsibilities)
- Manage the company debtor list and ensure the overall successful collection of the outstanding debts for Sol-Distribution Ledger to ensure reduction in debtor’s DSO’s in line with the target DSO’s.
- Liaise with BDMs to solve any customer’s dispute or enquiries and maintain strong relationship with the BDM’s.
- Managing AR inbox for Sol-Distribution Ledger daily.
- Assist in month end activities to close AR ledger as per the month end timetable.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement and streamline AR functions and processes.
About You
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Similar experience in a comparable role
- Relevant Australian Accounting qualification
- Previous NetSuite/large ERP system experience highly desired
- Can-do and Will - do attitude.
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail.
