**Your role**

Working hand in hand with the co-founders, you’ll be responsible for geophysical operations at Nomad Atomics. This is an exceptionally hands-on role requiring a broad skill set, including organisation and deployment of field crews. You will help build processes, policies and systems to drive efficiency and safety. We operate in extreme conditions where crew safety is of the utmost importance.

The role requires an action orientated, organised and task driven individual to ensure that gravity acquisition programs are acquired on schedule, within budget and to the highest HSEC&Q standards practicable.

You will be engaged daily in tasks like:

- Coordinate with Business Development team to build customer relationships,
- Lead survey planning and budgeting
- Prepare, update, and implement HSEC&Q at Nomad Atomics
- Assist with ISO certification
- Maintain awareness of HSE legislation and changes, and advise executive of any changes that may have an impact on the Company’s operations
- Coordinate mobilisation and demobilisation to and from site, including import and export of equipment, onboarding of personnel, etc
- Recruit and manage field crew
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for gravity acquisition field work
- Organise crew onboarding, medicals, inductions, etc
- Liaise with clients to ensure optimal outcomes
- Work with hardware development teams to develop and maintain testing procedures for gravity equipment
- Maintain and develop maintenance procedures for field equipment
- Work with hardware development teams to transfer field knowledge of equipment use to drive innovation and improvements
- Organise project meetings
- Prepare summary reports on field operations
- Semi-regular interstate and international travel may be required to support field teams and build customer relationship

**Requirements**:

- Undergraduate or graduate degree in geophysics or related field
- Ideally 5-10 years’ experience managing people and teams
- Geophysical project operations experience, in particular gravity acquisition, is desirable
- The ability to promptly solve tough problems, to handle pressure, and meet deadlines
- Experience working in the resources industry, including in-depth knowledge of the resource and resource exploration industry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and IT fluency
- Comfortable with managing large teams of people
- Comfortable with talking to all levels within an organisation; from field personnel through to managers and directors
