**About the role**

You will be joining the national learning and development team, reporting directly to the National L&D Manager based in Brisbane head office. You will work closely with the local HR Advisor, divisional leaders and SMEs to develop train the trainer tools for the Operational Buddy program. You will assist in facilitating inductions and training to the internal buddy leaders. You will do this to the highest level of expertise, maximising communication with employees to ensure competency, and allowing them to have the tools to perform their roles safely and to a high standard.
- Facilitate on-boarding of new employees providing continuous support following their induction
- Working with SME trainers to help create, develop, and maintain the “Train the Trainer program”.
- Review and update Work Instructions (WI) and SOPs in line with site operations requirements.
- Deliver and assess competency outcomes of the national training program consulting with key stakeholders on operational requirements.
- Support or lead national L&D projects as required.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to confidently develop and deliver training using varying mediums and adult learning principles.

Previous operational experience in team leadership roles, either leading or coaching teams will be highly regarded. You must hold a minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or other appropriate qualifications. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build effective professional relationships. You will be a team player with a curious and innovative approach and enjoy collaborating with others. You are customer service and outcomes focused. You will have the ability to quickly adapt to new operations, products, services, systems, processes, and procedures.
