**Library Officer**

As part of our Cultural Engagement & Library Services Business Unit, you will contribute to the efficient and effective operations of Georges River Libraries, delivering high-quality, customer-focused services, resources, programs, and systems.

**Position Details**:

- Permanent Full-time - 70 hours per fortnight
- Salary range: $67,800.68- $78,557.20 per annum plus 10.5% superannuation
- Flexible working arrangements, including start and finish time flexibility
- Potential for a 9-day fortnight based on operational requirements

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high-quality, customer-focused library services, resources, programs, and systems
- Promote and implement effective and relevant library services, programs, and events
- Encourage literacy, creativity, and lifelong learning within a diverse community
- Provide written and verbal communication, including report preparation and training
- Demonstrate a customer-focused approach to service delivery
- Work effectively in both unsupervised and team environments
- Utilize analytical, time management, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills

**Requirements**:

- TAFE Diploma qualification in Library and Information Science or equivalent library experience
- NSW Class C Driver's License
- Demonstrated experience in library and information services
- Experience in delivering effective library services, programs, and events
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-focused approach to service delivery
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong analytical, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
