**Job Description**:
- Purpose of the role:
- To provide a catering service to x13 front of house meeting rooms (split over 2 floors) at Brookfield’s headquarters i.e. Brookfield Place - 10 Carrington Street Sydney.
- The role provides a service to staff and Brookfield's external clients for events during business hours and after-hours onsite at Brookfield Place some of which include but are not limited to: Boardroom meetings, Formal Lunches, Onsite staff training events, Staff drinks and external events held throughout the year for Brookfield affiliated partners.
- Responsible for:
- Deliver a professional workplace catering service to Brookfield clients, management, and staff.-
- Service x13 front of house meeting rooms with tea, coffee, and water.-
- Action catering requests from business representatives.-
- Liaise third-party suppliers regarding catering orders.-
- Rooms to be set up with water and cleared prior to the next meeting.-
- Monitor stock levels in the catering kitchen and order new supplies when needed.-
- Recommend new catering suppliers that meet certain criteria i.e., value for money, quality of product, can deliver to premises, send invoices for payment via Coupa accounts system.-
- Send all staff invites for monthly staff birthday morning teas and monthly Friday night drinks.-
- Manage expenses for ordering catering supplies.-
- Reconcile expenses on AMEX card monthly for ad-hoc catering purchases.-
- Accommodate ad-hoc after-business hours events on site. i.e., setup spaces, order catering, waiter service.- About you- 5+ years’ experience preferably with Corporate Clients-
- Excellent coffee & tea making abilities.-
- Service of meeting room and boardrooms-
- Food ordering-
- Maintain stock levels-
- Demonstrated flexibility and can cope with change and demanding situations.Understanding of WHSE policies-
- Demonstrates strong communication skills both verbal and written.-
- Displays drive, passion and focus on service excellence-
- Plans for staff events and meeting room requirements.-
- Flexible and open to change.-
- Active participation in team meetings.-
- Maintain good working relationships with staff and team providing prompt and professional responses to all enquiries.-
- Personable, attentive and customer focused.- Qualifications- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)-
