As part of Nasdaq’s growing Market Technology business, SMARTS the world’s leading provider of surveillance and compliance technology is currently seeking an Application Support Specialist to join our Asia Pacific service delivery team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing efficient and high quality technical implementation support to clients who are financial institutions and investment banks. This includes taking end to end ownership of production issues, incident management and resolution. A large part of the role is continuous development and improvement of the client services with the overall objective of shortening the client response time and increasing service quality. You will also be responsible for both technical and non-technical support. The opportunity for progression from this role is a Technical Project Manager.

What You Will Do- Establish and maintain relationships with Market Data vendors and Clients- Act as a technical and functional liaison between vendors, clients, technology team and other internal groups- End to End ownership of issues raised by stakeholders which include, investigating and identifying the root cause, preparing fix, scheduling the QA resources and finally ensuring fix is deployed as expected- Provide consultation on products, as well as industry policies and procedures- Contribute to delivering projects by following project scope, timing and budgets in accordance with the needs of the business- Identify and highlight risks at a project level- Facilitate customer BAU presentations- Identify solutions which will result in exceeding KPI’s- Prepare operational and user documentation and ensure these are accurate and complete

What We Expect- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field or equivalent work experience- At least 4 years of L2/L3 client facing service support role in the trading/financial services technology space- Knowledgeable in capital markets- Commercial experience using Linux, GIT and Regular expression including a good knowledge of scripting- Experience working in a globally distributed team- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
