This is a great opportunity for a qualified Allied Health Assistant to join our Community Services team, assisting with community and acute based clients. In this fixed term position you will work in a varied role within the allied health team, alongside occupational therapists, physios and more. Flexible working arrangements available. **Allied Health Assistant**

**Part Time or Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight**

**Fixed Term - to commence 12**th** June 2023 until 5**th** February 2024**

This is a great opportunity for a qualified Allied Health Assistant to join our Community Services team, assisting with community and acute based clients. **KEY SELECTION CRITERIA**

**Qualifications / Experience**
- Certificate IV Allied Health Assistant

**Specialist Expertise**
- Well-developed verbal communication with other health professionals and clients
- Highly-developed written communication skills to ensure accurate case recording and statistics
- Experience in working with a diverse range of people in the community
- The ability to implement engaging and client centred individual and group activities
- Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice
- Demonstrated commitment to staff development, continuing education and quality improvement

**Personal Qualities**
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- A commitment to providing an innovative, high quality service to MDHS clients
- A positive approach to teamwork and a willingness to undertake a broad range of clinical and non-clinical duties
