What this job involves
As National Facilities Manager you will provide comprehensive facility and services management across a national client portfolio. Manage the facilities team, delivering relevant contract initiatives as well as ensuring consistency in process, systems, and reporting. Build and develop effective stakeholder relationships across multiple levels of the organisation.

This position will also assist the Facilities Director to deliver the full range of services to the Entities and assist various teams. Engage in management of facilities and services contracts, planned and routine maintenance requirements, key performance indicators around service levels and related standards, and change control processes.

Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget whilst also working with the procurement team to ensure compliance with CPR’s and value for money outcomes. Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement Industry Best Practice operations. Implement building procedures and performance measures and ensure they are always maintained.

You are a dynamic, engaging, passionate and influential leader with a strong track record in a senior management role within the facilities management industry with a history of managing a team and guiding them to service excellence. You are also a strategic thinker who can deal with ambiguity and solve complex problems effectively. As a proactive manager you have a keen eye for detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities. You also possess:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Facility, Property or related field, preferably with a Finance Sector client and minimum 3 years managing a team
Strong communication, analytical, organization and presentation skills
Strong financial management
Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Building or Facility Management would be an advantage
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft suite of products essential
