**Your Opportunity**
- Direct, guide and train the FIT reservations sales agents on their core duties.
- Coach, motivate or discipline staff, when necessary, to achieve a successful and positive team environment.
- Focus and assist in driving RESAvision, including reporting, training and development of all team members.
- Process and input reservations following Hotel standard operating procedures.
- Close liaison with the Reservations and Revenue Managers on availability, pricing and methodology
- Ensure stop sells on room types, market segments and or rate levels are enforced with the team when directed by the Revenue or Reservations Manager
- Monitor forward reservations on a daily basis.
- Ensure all arrivals are seamless by managing all arrival checks in conjunction with the Reservations Manager
- Take direct reservations when necessary, including all Executive Office bookings.
- Actively promotes upselling within the Reservations team.
- Regular checks of the company and agent profiles to ensure no duplication of profiles.
- Closely examine VIP bookings in conjunction with the Reservations Manager
- In the absence of the Reservations Manager implement the planning of inventory into all distribution systems as per operating procedures
- In the absence of the Reservations Manager will be responsible for the Reservations department and report directly to the Director of Revenue
- Attend the weekly RevMax meetings to discuss availability, no show production, booking patterns.
- Provide reporting as required including production reporting including but not limited to end of month reporting.
**Qualifications**
- revious supervisory experience in Reservations.
- Guest centric and always display an enthusiastic attitude.
- Outgoing personality and service-minded.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to delegate.
- Excellent English as a second language, knowledge of another language advantageous
- Always displays a professional appearance, representing our Sofitel brand.
