**Flight Centre Travel Group** are looking for an **Accounts Payable Team Leader **to join the team In this role, you will be leading, motivating, and maximising the team potential to ensure the long term, positive Accounts relationship with its Suppliers, Partners and customers.

This role is responsible for invoice processing, accounts reconciliation, end of month activities, payment disbursement and the
associated queries from internal and external stakeholders. You will be accountable for accounts reconciliation, end of month activities and the associated queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Part of your duties will also include account reconciliation, internal accounting queries from Management Accounting and Commercial Finance team and end of month activities. We are looking for someone who is a strategic thinker, great problem solver, thrives on challenge and consistently delivers a high level of customer service, contributing to Flight Centre Travel Group's overall profitability.

**A Day in the Life...**
- Invoice Processing
- Payment disbursement and cash management
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations - Vendor ledger, prepayment, unallocated cash, virtual credit card
- Supporting audit requirements
- Financial control and end of month activities
- Query resolution - Banking, partners and stakeholder relationship
- Providing analysis and support to the management accounting team/selling partners
- Ad-hoc projects to continually improve the team processes and control
- Investigation and implementation of new processes as per best practice
- Implement processes, policies, and technology that position us to be a customer experience leader
- Perform financial and operational analysis to support recommended actions provided to the senior leadership team
- Clear communication with stakeholders
- Complete Balance Sheet Reconciliations - Vendor Ledger, Prepayment, Unallocated Cash, Virtual Credit Card etc.
- Provide analysis and support to Management Accounting team or liaise directly with Internal Finance Team
- Identifying risk in balance sheet and ways to mitigate this risks
- Tracking and reporting - ledger ageing report
- BAU Management
- Ad hoc projects
- System upgrade and project testing
- Manage daily workflow between FCTG and offshore team

**Who you are...**
- Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce
- Travel Industry knowledge (Desirable)
- Experience with Dynamics365 (Desirable)
- Accounts Payable or P2P Experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Fluency in financial concepts
- Ability to think ‘outside the box’ and quickly problem solve
- Excellent back-office system knowledge
- Ability to interpret bank statements, supplier invoices/statements and documentation
- Highly developed customer service skills to ensure mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers, partners and customers
- Effectively lead their team
- Support and foster a positive, well balanced team environment and culture
- Effective One on Ones, planners and WBMs
- Collaborate with other Global Supply TLs to support development of
