**Job description**:
**The Opportunity**

On behalf of a Federal Government Agency based in Geelong we are looking for APS5 Program Support Officer. This is an 18- month assignment. The role will paying $55.24 per hour plus super.

Working to support a newly formed branch, the Program Support Officer will play a key role in the implementation of the agency’s programmes aligning with key objectives.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Providing technical expertise across a range of programs or activities
- Assisting with maintaining process and documentation relating to service delivery
- Coordinating and analysing information for the purposes of drafting branch level high quality communications
- Assisting with the collation and audits of workforce planning data
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

**To be considered you will demonstrate**:

- Experience in the disability, health, or aged care sectors
- Previous experience in the similar role
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to be proactive and use critical thinking to navigate complex projects.
- Experience building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a team and adapt quickly in a changing environment
