- Mission and Ethos Statement- Position Description: Co-ordinator of Debating and Public SpeakingA unique opportunity has arisen at Trinity Grammar School (TGS) to take the lead as the new Co-ordinator of Debating and Public Speaking. Reporting to the Director of Co-curricular, and working collaboratively with the Activities Master, this position will manage all aspects of the Debating program, including coaching and staffing, overseeing programmed activities, and all the administrative aspects of the program.

**Essential Criteria...**
- Proven leadership experience in a school activity program.
- Management of all Debating operations such as fixtures, coaching rosters, transport, venues, ensuring student safety at all times.
- Background in Debating, within the school or university level.
- Experience in developing and coaching students within a school environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parent and students.
- Experience in the art of speech and public speaking activities (including mock trial, oratory and mooting) is desirable.
- Adjudication qualifications is desirable.
- Compliance requirements including: Valid NSW Working With Children number (employment status), Valid First Aid and CPR qualifications (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009); Play by the Rules Child Protection Certificate and Valid Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate or Covid-19 vaccine medical contraindication exemption.
