**About the Role**

As a Project Officer, you will be responsible for effective development and implementation of policy, stakeholder management and refinements to systems of work. You will coordinate and provide administrative support, correspondence management, distribute information and materials to stakeholders and maintain relevant databases.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Policy Translation, analysis of technical and policy papers, develop options and make recommendations.
- Effective administrative support including planning/budgeting and reporting, contract management, briefing papers and presentations.
- Relationship management, providing advice, support and building partnerships
- Meeting and event coordination, preparing material and documents for meetings and events as directed
- Program and project delivery, identifying risks and issues. Development and Implementation of programs including detailed planning and delivery
- Procurement responsibilities, ensuring that the correct and analysis is undertaken for procurement activity and the appropriate level of approval is sough

**Skills/ Requirements**
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in science, natural resource management or Diploma of Occupational health and safety is desirable

To be successful you must be able to demonstrate strong people, policy and systems thinking skills and the ability to work effectively with managers and as part of a team.
