**About the role**
No need to travel for hours to the Valley, we are central to Newcastle and have free onsite parking. Our roles include; rotating shift patterns, afternoon and night shift penalties, options for overtime and a variety of role opportunities. You will be contributing to the manufacturing of our high quality steel products in either our Steelmaking or Rail Products departments. You will be permanent full-time employees of Molycop so there will be no need to worry about ending contracts, no leave entitlements or non-secure employment.

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

- forklift operation (up to 16T)
- overhead crane operation (remote, pendant and cabin controlled)
- machine/equipment operation
- oiling and greasing
- basic dogging
- general labouring duties
- loading and unloading of heavy vechicles
- preparing and packaging finished products

Critical in this role is your ability to follow all quality and safety procedures, standards and systems and work as part of a team.

For this role, you will have:

- Effective communication skills
- Experience working in a heavy industry environment, but not essential
- Ability to operate autonomously with a high attention to detail
- A positive can-do attitude
- Demonstrated commitment to working safely and leading by example
