**Sales and Events Coordinator at Hyatt Centric Melbourne**

Based on-site in the Melbourne CBD, the Sales and Events Coordinator is a vital part of our Sales and Marketing team. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales team, having fun, and ensuring an excellent and consistent level of service is provided to our clients at all times.

**Some of the responsibilities include**:

- Provide administrative support to the Director of Sales and the Sales team
- Assist in the planning, preparation, coordination and execution of Sales and Events including corporate functions
- Ensure that all clientele’s needs and wants are met, when conducting site inspections
- Maintain the Sales and Events data base, including accurate entering of data, updates, unsubscribes and new contacts

**Qualifications**:
**About you**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality/Sales or related business education
- Previous experience in an administrative role (Hotel operations would be advantageous)
- A strong attention to detail, exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with well-developed computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office
- Ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of five-star grooming standards.
