Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems (EWIS) Land Systems Program Office (Land SPO), within Joint Systems Division, is seeking a highly professional and motivated Assistant Business Manager to join our team.

The position is located within EWIS Land SPO Business Management Unit and will be responsible for a wide range of business activities relating to workforce management, task coordination and management, financial management activities, commercial support, corporate reporting and a wide variety of business planning.

As the Assistant Business Manager, you will be relied upon to provide business support to Land SPO. You will possess strong stakeholder engagement, excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail. You will interpret and provide advice within the administration function based on legislation, policy and procedures.

**About our Team**

EWIS Land SPO delivers and supports capabilities to the ADF and external Government agencies which include Force Protection Electronic Countermeasures (FPECM), Explosive Ordnance Disposal Robots, Deliberate Route Clearance, and Tactical Electronic Warfare systems.

The EWIS Land SPO Business Management Unit is comprised of members of diverse skills and disciplines who work together to provide governance, assurance and enabling services to support a wide variety of activities undertaken by EWIS Land SPO.
- A significant record of achievement in Business Planning and coordinating the delivery of a range of business activities;
- The capacity to think strategically and develop plans and processes to enhance the achievement of business outcomes;
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills;
- The skills to work collaboratively with EWIS Land stakeholders to support the achievement of outcomes;
- High-level organisational skills, self-drive and initiative with the ability to influence others to achieve tasks and business objectives;
- The desire to actively participate in team work and group activities.

The right person for this role will show the flexibility to respond to the changing context and shifting priorities of the Defence environment to achieve business outcomes. In this role you will provide support to a geographically dispersed team to ensure they are sensitive to Defence Strategic direction and to excel, while exercising a degree of independence.
