The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for the purchasing of goods and services that support Ventia’s Rig operations across Australia.
Based in our Toowoomba office in the CBD, you will work within a within a collaborative team focused environment, and will be responsible for:
- Processing requisitions from various areas of the business through our central portal
- Obtaining, clarifying, negotiating and processing of quotes
- Co-ordination with vendors for supply and delivery of purchased items
- Collating and entering data, analysing and running reports for ongoing system maintenance
- Follow up on queries within the team from internal and external stakeholders
- Communicating within the team, within departments, with vendors or clients and key stakeholders

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
This role would suit someone with transferable skills, from a background such as: parts interpreter, warehousing, retail, or dealing with stock on hand and sales.- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
