**About the role**

The Program Manager will provide governance, leadership, supervision, and project oversight to Family Services Australia's Workforce Australia counselling program. Family Services Australia currently offer no cost clinical support services to eligible participants across the Gold Coast and Wivenhoe regions of QLD who are engaged in the Department of Employment and Workforce Relations (DEWR) Workforce Australia program. This voluntary program provides counselling supports for a range of presenting concerns in eligible adults and is not tied to employment outcomes of participants. Rather, the program offers an opportunity for eligible participants to receive support to reduce barriers to their wellbeing and long-term outcomes.

In this role, you will provide team leadership, clinical supervision, project management, and workforce oversight in the service delivery and referral response for this growing program. You will work closely with service stream and organisational leadership in identifying targeted areas of support and resource gaps. You will provide clinical supervision to Health & Wellbeing staff, and line management support to a multidisciplined team of practitioners.

Key accountabilities include:

- Supervision and leadership of Health & Wellbeing practitioners (Counsellors, Social Workers, Psychologists etc.);
- Project Management and growth planning for a maturing program;
- Assist with managing reporting requirements and recovery outcomes of the Workforce Australia program;
- Work collaboratively with internal and external agencies to ensure service delivery is meeting community needs and build referral pathways for participants accessing services;

Essential criteria
- Qualifications as a Psychologist, Social Worker, Counsellor, or other allied health qualifications as relevant.
- Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA), Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or other similar body (e.g., PACFA).
- Current Working with Children Check number and valid Police Check.
- A minimum 5 years’ (FTE) clinical experience working with a variety of mental health presentations in adults.
- Excellent knowledge of evidence-based and trauma informed practice.
- Strong interpersonal skills to support and manage a team of clinicians and undertake proactive liaison with relevant stakeholders.
- High level organisational skills, including an ability to undertake a range of diverse tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- An interest and experience in project management, policy development, and service innovation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated capacity to implement principles of reflective practice and self-care within a team.
- Demonstrated experience in maturing service models.
- Current unrestricted Driver's Licence and willingness to travel as part of this role.

Desirable criteria
- Approved supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia, or clinical supervision experience if holding other forms of allied health registration.
- Experience delivering services via telehealth and managing remote teams.
