**Human Resources Officer - Chichester Fortescue People**

**Work Location**:Chichester Hub

**Roster**:8D6R- FIFO ex Perth

Reporting to the Superintendent Fortescue People, this role is a key member of the Chichester Hub Fortescue People team, influencing site culture and employee engagement. This role has strong links to the Perth based People Services team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and advice to the Chichester Hub team in relation to general Fortescue People enquiries such as policy and procedure interpretation
- Complete the administration and processing of employee changes within Success Factors and other associated Fortescue People systems
- Provide coaching and support to leaders and employees in the use of Success Factors and other associated Fortescue People systems
- Create employee documentation as required such as confirmation of employment letters, overpayment letters etc.
- Create and provide Fortescue People reports monthly and as required
- Monitor compliance to Fortescue’s Alcohol and Other Drugs testing schedule
- Create, standardise and maintain Fortescue People documentation such as enquiry forms across the Chichester Hub
- Proactively identify processes within the Fortescue People that would benefit from improvements and recommend the appropriate action.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Aboriginal Development and Diversity team
- Use Success Factors to approve new recruitment requests and complete the required Fortescue People fields
- Monitor expiring change of conditions such as unpaid leave, secondments, higher duties etc. and communicate with the relevant teams so that they can action accordingly

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Degree in Human Resources and/or Industrial Relations and/or
- Prior experience in a HR or Recruitment administration or systems capacity
- Strong technical aptitude with data analytics, including advanced excel capability
- Knowledge and experience of HR systems with experience in Success Factors and SAP (preferable)
- Demonstrated experience working effectively within diverse work environments
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Demonstrated collaborative approach
