Join Fortescue’s Chichester Hub Fortescue People team as a **People Officer**, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping site culture and fostering employee engagement. Reporting to the Superintendent Fortescue People, this role offers a unique blend of site-based interaction and collaboration with our Perth-based team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- As a key member of the Chichester Fortescue People team, offer support and advice to the site team on various people-related inquiries, including interpreting policies and procedures.
- Handle the administration and processing of employee changes within SuccessFactors and other related systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Coach and support leaders and employees in using SuccessFactors and other HR systems, helping them navigate and leverage these tools effectively.
- Prepare essential employee documentation and generate monthly and ad-hoc Fortescue People reports.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvements within Fortescue People and recommend appropriate actions.
- Maintain effective collaboration with site and Perth-based teams to ensure seamless HR service delivery.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field (preferred), or relevant experience in HR or recruitment administration or systems.
- Strong technical skills, particularly in data analytics and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with HR systems is crucial, with experience in SuccessFactors and SAP being advantageous.
- Proven ability to work effectively in diverse environments, building strong relationships across teams.
- A collaborative approach to work, ensuring smooth interactions and contributions to team goals.
- Attention to detail and the ability to streamline and optimise HR processes effectively.
