**About the Role**

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Learning Specialist to join our Learning and Organisational Development team. In this high profile and varied role, you’ll partner with all areas of Canon Oceania to drive an environment of targeted development, a positive engaging culture, improving capability of talent and enabling robust performance assessment. You’ll join a small and highly supportive team and you’ll be involved in a wide variety of work comprising tactical delivery and strategy for a workforce of approximately 2500 employees across Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines.

Scope of the role includes:

- Working with HR Business Partners (HR BPs) in advising managers and employees on all aspects of development, education, and learning, including the availability of internal and external development activities appropriate to their needs.
- Reviewing leadership capability and liaising with managers to identify the development interventions required to promote excellence in leadership across Canon Oceania.
- Designing, delivering and evaluating leading edge learning & development solutions to meet business requirements within agreed budgets.
- Pro-actively managing L&D projects from project ‘design’ stage, to pilot phase, implementation and finally program evaluation.
- Developing and managing Canon Oceania’s training calendar to ensure alignment with Canon-wide strategies and working with HR BPs to ensure development is targeted at BU and position requirements.
- Developing and delivering team building workshops within the business to support capability development across the group.
- Researching and investigating L&D vendors and assessing ‘fit’ with Canon’s requirements.
- Supporting broader Organisational Development projects including Employee Experience Surveys, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent and Succession Management, Performance Management and Compliance learning

**About you**

You are a seasoned and confident facilitator who has demonstrated expertise in design and development of learning content. You have a track record of building leadership capability and you possess excellent organisation and project management skills. You thrive on driving for results and you know how to work effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders to get the outcomes you need. This is a great opportunity for someone highly experienced in learning to gain exposure and experience in Organisational Development.
