Kuehne+Nagel are looking for an outstanding Warehouse Site Supervisor to join our growing Contract Logistics team and be based in a new facility in Truganina.
- ** Your Role **:As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager to manage the overall performance of an operational site in order to achieve all agreed financial + operational objectives. Your days will be varied and will include ensuring the smooth day to day operations, customer communication, labour and shift planning, KPI reporting and working on continuous improvement projects.
- ** Your Responsibilities**:
The activities needed to deliver the objectives of this position include:

- To manage, plan, organize, staff, + direct warehouse activities at the site.
- To achieve your key performance indicators (KPI) in the areas of cost management, productivity, customerservice + profit. #LI-DNI
- To ensure your teams deliver against their customer, site + people KPI.
- Contribute to improving team succes and overall productivity.
- To drive all activities relating to customer on-boarding, retention + operational excellence by collaborating at a site level.
- To drive productivity via engagement activities to create new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement at all times, ensuring your site meets or exceeds it’s productivity targets.
- To contribute information required for tenders/proposals to support closing of new business.
- To oversee the safe operation of warehousing activities across the site, ensuring the correct skills + training are in place + are compliant with health/safety/environment legislation + standards.

Additionally, you will have:

- Previous experience working in a 3PL environment
- Proven experience in leading and supervising a team
- Strong communication skills
