Contract Logistics Inventory Manager

Kuehne+Nagel are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to join our growing Contract Logistics team and be based at a new facility in Truganina.
- ** Your Role **:Your primary objective will be to oversee + ensure 100% accuracy in stock reconciliation + inventory management for each account, while also providing warehouse management solutions (WMS) support at a site level. You will do this by leading your team + working with a variety of internal + external to achieve objectives.
- ** Your Responsibilities**:
The key objectives of this position include:

- To manage + direct team members to complete daily inventory tasks, including the training of others perinventory management requirements.
- To supervise inventory quality + accuracy assurance programs including measurement of relevant keyperformance indicators (KPI) in weekly + monthly reports.
- To maintain + develop processes + working instructions (WI) in regards to inventory control measures.
- To develop + maintain processes for inventory claims, returns, damaged goods handling, identifying measuresto reduce damages.
- To ensure site management are well trained to identify + resolve identified inventory issues via root causeanalysis.
- To plan + manage all cycles of stock counts in accordance with customer requirements + our guidelines.
- To manage escalations from all stakeholders, ensuring to provide solutions. #LI-DNI
- To be the technical support for internal and stakeholders for all things involving warehouse management systems (WMS).
- To lead the implementation of new accounts in relation to inventory management + controls.

- Advanced knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong analytical capability and proficient user of Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of the logistics industry, preferably in a 3PL environment
- Sound communicator, both written and verbal
