Working as part of a team on a rotating roster, Production Managers are responsible for maintaining a high level of service delivery to all clients and across all methodologies

They represent Red Bee Media as a key operational contact for the client and are expected to develop positive working relationships with clients, captioning staff and other service delivery team members in order to enable RBM to successfully deliver our service.

PMs are responsible for managing all available resources as part of continuous client delivery, ensuring that targets are met in terms of quality, productivity and utilisation

**In this role, you would be doing**:
**Service delivery - RBM Clients**
- Be aware of the contract deliverables for each client and contribute to ensuring all SLAs are met.
- Be an ambassador for RBM, ensuring that client interaction is always professional and commercially focused, with RBM seen to be an effective, valuable and integral partner in getting their captions to air.

**Operational excellence**
- Minimisation of caption outages in terms of both number and duration
- Anticipation, identification and troubleshooting of technical and operational issues ensuring minimum impact on service.
- Monitoring capacity and identify ongoing resource requirements
- Ensuring work is covered without recourse to unnecessary penalty payments and overtime
- Ensuring technical and operational issues are appropriately logged and raised.
- Ensuring operational readiness for DR scenarios

**Key Performance Indicators**
- Minimal captioning outages (number and duration).
- Efficient allocation of resource as determined by utilisation reports.
- Client happiness.
- Successful, professional communication with management and colleagues.

**Key Interfaces**
- This role will work in full partnership with the Service Delivery Group and captioners in all locations.
- A key interface will be with the Co-ordinators, who will take direction from you (As well as others) in relation to the administrative and planning support required on any given day.
- You will also be in regular contact with your counterparts within the distributed team and may need to flex your working hours to accommodate out of time zone meeting requirements (as approved by your line manager).
- You will have regular client contact.

**Experience**
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (e.g. Word, Excel).
- Skills for working across a variety of different software platforms.
- You will be used to working in a constantly evolving environment requiring a flexible and ‘can do’ demeanour at all times, even when there is unclear direction.
- Excellent time management, organisational skills, accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

**Knowledge**
- Working understanding of Plan Bee and all resource and allocation tools.
- Understanding of production processes and operational procedures, including a comprehensive understanding of DR response and requirements.
- Understanding of the core Red Bee Media tech infrastructure supporting all client services.
- Knowledge of production techniques and facilities in media access and the media industry.
- An awareness of Red Bee Media policies on Health and Safety.
