Full-Time Fixed Term position in Palliative Medicine

About the role

This position involves assessment and management of clients admitted to the Inpatient Palliative Care Unit at Calvary, Kogarah. It is responsible for supporting the day-to-day monitoring & management of patients admitted to the unit under the supervision of a Palliative Medicine Specialist. This position will also require participation on the after-hours/on-call Calvary Hospital medical officer roster, including weekend ward rounds.

About you

Unconditional Registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA

Excellent communication skills verbal and written, with demonstrated computer skills

Proven ability to work with a multidisciplinary team

Good organisation and time management skills

Experience in Palliative Medicine

Working towards the FRACP or FAChPM (RACP), or its equivalent; consideration of suitable applicants with other relevant experience will be made

Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
