**Remuneration**: $29.60 per hour to $33.47 per hour
About the role

This full-time permanent position is available from the 8th January 2024. This position provides support to the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists working with the Calvary Community Palliative Care Team in the delivery of health care services to patients under the direct, indirect or remote supervision of an Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist consistent with Calvary Health Care Kogarah and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District policies, procedures and standards.

**What you bring**:
Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistant qualification, or relevant qualifications in a health-related field, or relevant work experience and a willingness to work toward certification with the support of SESLHD.
Experience working in a rehabilitation, aged care, palliative, or community setting.
Proven interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and work with minimum supervision, to organise work priorities and manage time effectively.
Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles, and a Current Class C NSW drivers’ licence (or equivalent).
Sensitivity to the psychosocial needs of palliative care clients and their carers.
Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah.
