**About the Role**:
We're seeking an experienced and knowledgeable professional to join our team as Statewide Verifier - Intellectual Disability. Verification in the category of intellectual disability is for the purpose of special school enrolment, as an enrolment requirement under the department's Special school eligibility ("person with a disability" criteria) policy.

As Statewide Verifier - Intellectual Disability, your responsibilities will include:

- reviewing reports and assessments completed by schools and external providers to determine if departmental criteria for verification in the category of intellectual disability are met;
- liaising and providing feedback to school teams in relation to verification requests;
- development of professional resources and provision of professional development to departmental staff to support the implementation of the verification process.

**About You**:This position has mandatory qualifications of**:

- possession of a degree in psychology from a recognised tertiary institution, or agreed equivalent formal qualifications, which in the opinion of the Director-General, Department of Education, or delegate, are acceptable
- registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a psychologist.
