- Full-time, Continuing position- Salary HEW 5 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements- Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University

About You

The Wellbeing & Inclusion Officer is part of a team supporting the delivery of welfare and wellbeing services and programs to a diverse community of RMIT students.

As the Wellbeing & Inclusion Officer, you will support the Equitable Learning Services team, which supports and creates opportunities for students with a disability, long-term illness and/or mental health condition. Being part of a team, you may be required to provide additional administrative support for other wellbeing services at RMIT on occasion.

To be successful in this position, you will have as a minimum:
- Is passionate and motivated to deliver high-quality administrative support and customer service.- Has a high level of emotional intelligence, with proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships as a flexible team member, committed to achieving team goals.- Learns quickly, relishes problem-solving and can adapt to, and accurately use and apply, new systems and procedures.- Has experience providing high-level administrative support in a large and/or complex organisation, working with accuracy and attention to detail.- Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, inclusion and reconciliation.

About the Portfolio

The Education Portfolio is headed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and Vice President who leads the planning and implementation of the University’s strategies related to RMIT’s academic programs and the RMIT student experience. The Portfolio is responsible for services to support the quality of RMIT programs, including the professional development of academic staff, continuous improvement of the student experience, learning and teaching outcomes and the management of learning and research information sources.

The Education Portfolio plays a key role in empowering students to access education, participate actively in the life of the University and achieve successful and fulfilling lives beyond graduation. The provision of a stimulating and satisfying experience for students is a priority for the University.
