As a **Project Cost Controller**, you’ll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know. Here’s how:

- Optimise project cost performance with cost planning, forecasting monitoring and analysis, along with reporting and process improvement in the delivery of the program of work and individual projects.
- Develop the detailed work breakdown structure (WBS), as per project scope, interpretation of project estimate and allocation of project budget.
- Lead the maintenance and control of project costs throughout the project lifecycle according to Powerlink’s processes and tools (including SAP).
- Review and verify project expenditure, incorporating known risks and opportunities, procurement and material supply availability to ensure accurate project forecasts.
- Provide support to Project Managers in the development of the Project plans, change requests and final project reports.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management accounting or allied discipline or
- A lessor related qualification with significant experience in a project delivery environment

We’d also love you to have:

- Demonstrated ability in the use of key business tools including SAP Project System (PS), Project Sever, Microsoft Office (especially MS Project and Excel) and Tableau.
- Proven experience in setting up and managing the detailed planning, forecasting, reporting and monitoring of large complex construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability in Earned Value Management and analysis of cost and schedule performance (CPI and SPI).
- Proven experience to perform timely cost tracking and trend analysis, prepare reports, graphs and charts.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in end of month project cost accounting.
