As a
Project Cost Controller, you'll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day.

Here's how:

  • Optimise project cost performance with cost planning, forecasting monitoring and analysis, along with reporting and process improvement in the delivery of the program of work and individual projects.
  • Develop the detailed work breakdown structure (WBS), as per project scope, interpretation of project estimate and allocation of project budget.
  • Lead the maintenance and control of project costs throughout the project lifecycle according to Powerlink's processes and tools (including SAP).
  • Review and verify project expenditure, incorporating known risks and opportunities, procurement and material supply availability to ensure accurate project forecasts.
  • Provide support to Project Managers in the development of the Project plans, change requests and final project reports.

What you'll bring:

  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management accounting or allied discipline or
  • A lessor related qualification with significant experience in a project delivery environment

We'd also love you to have:

  • Demonstrated ability in the use of key business tools including SAP Project System (PS), Project Sever, Microsoft Office (especially MS Project and Excel) and Tableau.
  • Proven experience in setting up and managing the detailed planning, forecasting, reporting and monitoring of large complex construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability in Earned Value Management and analysis of cost and schedule performance (CPI and SPI).
  • Proven experience to perform timely cost tracking and trend analysis, prepare reports, graphs and charts.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in end of month project cost accounting.
