We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and customer-focused **Village Manager** to join our team at **Bethanie on the Park** based in Menora. As the Village Manager, you will play a key role to ensure the operational and financial success of the village are maintained, as well as the general wellbeing of our residents. With strong interpersonal skills, you will ensure all village residents and their families have an outstanding customer experience with Bethanie, where optimal relationships, wellbeing and quality of life is achieved.

This role is being offered on a **permanent full-time basis, working hours are 8am - 4pm or 8:30am - 4:30pm** and requires an element of being **‘on-call’** in an emergency situation.

**About the Role**:

- As the primary point of contact for residents, you will take ownership and be responsible for proactively anticipating resident needs, addressing their concerns and ensure the site delivers an outstanding quality of life
- Actively promote the village, assist with ‘Open Day’ programs and all sales and marketing events as required
- Organise, promote and facilitate resident activities, functions and events that enhance resident lifestyle and enjoyment
- Assist in management sales enquiries and smooth the transition of new residents into their new villas and welcome them into the Village Community
- Communicate with residents on a regular basis regarding activities, services, building improvements and ensure appropriate maintenance and presentation of the site

**About You**:

- Experience in either the hospitality / service / health or retirement industry
- Prior Management experience is essential
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act and understanding the needs of older people.
- Strong work ethic, internal drive and the ability to go the extra mile to ensure you deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - including the ability to communicate effectively with various individuals of varying ages and backgrounds
- High level of organisational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial statements and use financial management software
- Willing to obtain required vaccinations - 3 x COVID 19 vaccinations and annual flu vaccination
