Our client, a large and growing not-for-profit organisation are currently seeking a Development Services Manager to join them in a permanent capacity.

The Development Services Manager will lead a team in delivering all general purpose & custom solutions that meet specific business requirements but also offer the ability to adjust as needed to an ever-changing environment in an Agile manner.

**Key Accountabilities**:
Guide the team leveraging Agile / Scrum practices and values to deliver technology solutions considered high value by their business stakeholders;
Continuously improve maturity of team in Agile practices with a view to enhance their maturity at a sustainable pace;
Build a trusting and safe environment within the team and with business stakeholders to foster a collaborative culture of sustained delivery of value to the business;
Support the team in all manners required for them to be successful in their endeavours;
Guide the team in designing, coding, testing and documenting all new or existing developments with enterprise change control and testing processes;
Support required development stacks and be a major driver of implementing a defined Architectural framework for interactions between each stack and defining if it still fits in today's landscape of the organisation;
Set priorities for all development with stakeholders and manage the delivery and support of the solutions, leveraging other operational support teams in collaboration with their team leaders;
Develop Global Framework and Methodology for use with all Developments including principles, patterns and standards that will govern the approach to development services;
Develop long-term strategic goals for business self-service enablement by introducing CoE (Centre of Excellence) in close collaboration with key business stakeholders in producing, publishing and leveraging reusable assets and best practices;
Work collaboratively with leaders and teams, internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver solutions to fast-track key deliverables; and

Work collaboratively with Architecture & Security to define and expand on Architectural principles to be applied to developments.

**About you**:
**Ideally, you will possess**:
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills and interpersonal ability is required;
Understanding of development alignment with Security and Data Access Principles;
Experience with Service Delivery in relation to design, development, testing and release management;
Experience in Operational support related to root cause analysis and defect resolution;
Effective relationship management and the ability to deal with both internal and external stakeholders;
Familiarity with and understanding of Java /.Net / Node / Angular Programming and frameworks;
Experience with the following key technologies / stacks is desirable;
Microsoft Azure Development Suite (Azure Functions, APIM);
Boomi Integration;
Web Frameworks & SDKs;
Net & IIS; and

Experience in playing the Scrum Master role, ideally in a team not only developing new solutions, but also supporting existing ones.
