**Your new role**

Working as a Assistant Underwriter you will be;
- Focusing on renewals and managing your own portfolio of brokers
- Attending events to grow and develop new business opportunities
- Handling complex broker's queries across a range of issues to ensure acceptable outcomes
- Building good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to a high professional standard
- Adhering to high Quality Assurance standards and making sure these are maintained

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 2 years experience within Financial Lines Underwriting, broking or claims
- A working knowledge of renewals process or be motivated to learn
- A strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency would be ideal but WHV's may be considered.
