Lead Cyber Security Analyst, required to provide security expertise and technical leadership, including the analysis, planning and implementation of security controls to support project delivery within Government Department.

Queensland Government Department;
Initial 9 month contract with 2 x 12 month extensions;
Cyber Security, Security Controls Uplift, Information Security;
Vulnerability management, Identity and Access management solutions, Privileged Access management, Authentication; and

Security controls frameworks - ISO 27001, NIST CSF.

**Role Responsibilities**:
Provide leadership and technical skills to ensure a timely delivery of project deliverables;
Conduct estimation activities and tasks to define effort required for security control uplift;
Plan, develop, manage, consult with technical areas, provide input to and execute specialist products for the project, including current state assessments, options papers, designs and configuration, KB articles, test plans and implementation plans;
Support Project Manager(s) and Work Package Managers in effective management of risks, issues, conflicts, priorities, communications and personnel in achieving a successful implementation;
Consulting with business stakeholders and analysts to determine business and user requirements;
Facilitate and / or participate in design sessions and other workshops;
Liaise with required stakeholders; and

Provide timely and accurate reporting of progress as directed by the Customer.

Highly desirable skills / experience in (though not limited to):
Knowledge and experience with information security controls frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF;
In-depth knowledge of cyber security better practices, principles and technologies;
Demonstrated experience with data classification, risk assessments, controls assessments and cyber security reviews;
Demonstrated experience providing cyber and information security technical leadership;

Demonstrated experience in cyber and information security in large and complex organisations; such as Qld Government or large organisations.
