About the Role

An exciting new opportunity for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our Cyber Detection and Response team. Reporting to the Manager of Cyber Incident Response team (CIR), the Senior Cyber Security Analyst works proactively to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of the Bank’s information systems and assets. Your key responsibilities in this role will be as per below:

Security Monitoring:

  • Supervise Security Operations Centre (SOC) for timely detection and alerting.
  • Drive capability and maturity uplift in detection, response, and recovery.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Infrastructure & Automation team for seamless workflow.

Incident Response:

  • Lead and respond to level 3 security incidents.
  • Govern level 1 and level 2 incident triage and remediation processes.
  • Collaborate with teams for streamlined incident response processes.

Threat Hunting:

  • Lead and coordinate Threat Hunting activities.
  • Progress Threat Hunt maturity level.
  • Leverage actionable Threat Intelligence for hunting expeditions.

Threat Intel:

  • Collect, process, and analyze Cyber Threat Intelligence.
  • Utilize Threat Intelligence frameworks for actionable reports.
  • Mentor Analysts on Threat Intelligence best practices.

About you

We are looking for an individual who has at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable position, demonstrating expertise in Cyber Incident Response or Threat Management. Ideally, they will have an understanding of Financial Services/Banking industry operations. Additionally, they will demonstrate familiarity with Threat Hunting methodologies and Cyber Threat Intelligence, showcasing a robust background in managing suppliers and service providers.

The right person for the job should be a great communicator and able to influence others easily. They need to be a good leader, coach, and team player to make our work environment awesome. Having a mindset that's into new ideas and positive changes is key for dealing with challenges.
