**About the Role**

Sitting within the Cyber Security Team, you will work closely with the Cyber Security Team Lead in the day-to-day protection of Sunwater’s information security.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the Cyber Security Team Lead along with other parts of ICT and Operational Technology in managing cyber security controls
- Work with the outsourced managed security service partner that runs the SOC to drive a culture of continuous improvement in incident management and security monitoring
- Developing and maintaining a culture of cyber security awareness in the organisation
- Maintaining the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in partnership with the Cyber Security Team Lead
- Conduct cyber security assessments, vulnerability scans and pen testing to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
- Monitor compliance with vulnerability management against relevant policies and work to reduce risk in this area.
- Help other technology teams properly consider and manage cyber security risks during project design and implementation phases
- Help other ICT staff understand the standards and policies of cyber security such as ISO27001, Essential 8
- Working closely with operational technology team members to drive an inclusive cyber security maturity partnership
- Participating in professional development activities to stay informed on the latest trends

**About you**:
Key requirements include:

- Qualifications in cyber security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field highly desirable
- Demonstrate an understanding of technical cyber security principals and best practices
- Understanding of ASD Essential 8 Required
- Understanding of ISO27001 highly desireable
- ITIL V3 or v4 Foundation Certification desirable

Demonstrated technical skills in:

- Knowledge of network protocols and firewall technologies
- Experience with Microsoft Stack technologies like Windows, Office, Office 365 and Azure
- Understanding of SaaS, IaaS and cloud architecture concepts
- Hands-on experience with endpoint protection platforms and vulnerability management systems
