**Job description**
We are looking for a people-person who will be responsible for managing and overseeing all food and beverage operations including staffing for all BBR Agency events. You ensure high-quality service and effective cost management.
Your duties include creating menus, buying supplies, inventory management, training and supervising food and bar contractors/casuals, upholding health and safety regulations, putting strategies into place to optimize sales and profitability, and overseeing daily event operations.
**Responsibilities**
Reporting to the CEO and the Production Manager, you will:
- Manage all events F&B operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
- Forecasting, planning, sourcing, and ordering food supplies for the kitchen, as well as beverages to stock the bar and fridges
- Oversee the F&B team by identifying, hiring, developing, and evaluating skilled staff, as well as create shift schedules
- Comply with all health and food safety regulations
- Report on management regarding sales results and productivity and monitor revenues and expenses
- Preserve excellent levels of customer service, processing complaints, and responding to customer needs.
- Keep up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of proven experience in the industry (ie. Hospitality, Events )
- Culinary or food service management degree may be advantageous
- Ability to forecast F&B needs
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where positive results are king
- Guest-oriented and service-minded
- Exude positivity, a team attitude, a sense of humor and creative problem-solving skills
- Have excellent communication, writing, project management, presentation, cross-functional collaboration and relationship building skills
- Possess excellent analytical, quantitative, organizational, negotiation, and prioritization skills
**Bonus**

**Salary / Contract**
