Our client a Mercantile Agent based in Sydney servicing National clients has aspirations for continued rapid growth which is ISO accredited and undergoing further accreditation seeks a Head of Collections to join the team.

The objective of this role is to lead the department in the delivery of the highest possible service standards, maximum compliance and best possible recovery outcomes. This role reports to the COO who will rely on you to provide advice on best practice and reporting of results vs targets.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Leadership
- Collections Management
- Client Liaison
- Training and Development
- Compliance
- Client relations and Marketing
- Quality Assurance
- Will have a practical understanding of ACCC/ASIC guidelines
- Practical understanding of the Privacy act
- Have a direct understanding of the insurance code of practice
- Practical understanding of the National Consumer protection Act 2009
