This role is based in Access, Equity & Inclusion, within the Division of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) which supports UNSW’s diverse and inclusive community by working collaboratively with staff and students to drive targeted positive change across the university.

**Why Your Role Matters**:
It is important that the person in this role work closely with other team members to monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and impact.

The role reports to the Impact Analysis and Research Manager and has two direct reports.

**Who You Are**:

- Qualifications in evaluation or applied social sciences, or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training and/or experience.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing quantitative and qualitative methods for evaluation, including experience developing theories of change and program logics.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills, including experience writing reports and communicating insights from complex data.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially both within a team and with mínimal supervision.
- Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
- Desirable: Experience evaluating learning initiatives for young people from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds or in evaluating equity initiatives more broadly.
- Desirable: Demonstrated experience with a range of statistical techniques such as groups comparisons and regression modelling.
