- This role will expect travel between St Leonards and Chatswood

**About this role**

The Chief Pharmacist provides oversight of pharmaceutical and medicines policy development for the NSW Health system. The team provides strategic advice to the Secretary, Minister and Government on pharmaceutical regulatory policy, and expert advice and input for health system wide and cross government initiatives.

This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the NSW Health system during an exciting and innovative time leading the monitoring and evaluation, measurement and reporting activities for the Real Time Prescription Monitoring program.

Crown Clerk 11/12, salary from $134,411 - $ 155,445 plus Super and annual leave loading

**What you'll be doing**
The Principal Evaluation Lead will manage and lead the monitoring and evaluation activities as described in the Real Time Prescription Monitoring Benefits Realisation Plan. This involves providing high-level advice and undertake analysis on Real Time Prescription Monitoring program data and a range of health outcomes data related to use of monitored medicines.

You will also contribute to understanding the performance of the program through process measures; ecological outcome measures; and the design and refinement of outcome measures for regulators, prescribers, pharmacists and patients.

**About you**
To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Expertise in benefits realisation
- Experience in pharmacoepidemiology or population health surveillance systems, data management, statistical analysis and program evaluation
